Let’s get started! ## Ingredients * 2 cups warm water * ¾ cup granulated sugar * 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast * 1 tsp salt * ¾ cup vegetable oil * 6-7 cups all-purpose flour * 2 eggs * ½ cup raisins ## Directions ### Step 1 In a large bowl, mix together water, sugar, and yeast. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy. ### Step 2 Add salt, oil, and 4 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Mix together until combined. ### Step 3 In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs. Add eggs and remaining flour to the yeast mixture, and mix together until a sticky dough forms. ### Step 4 Knead the dough for 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface. ### Step 5 Add raisins to the dough and knead for 5 minutes. ### Step 6 Form the dough into 12-15 balls and place on a greased baking sheet. ### Step 7 Cover the baking sheet with a towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour. ### Step 8 Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the buns for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. ### Step 9 Once the buns are done baking, let them cool before serving.
